Stone Age Rumble
Saturday, August 26th, 2006The night was good.
It started with a bang at around 7.30 (or a general murmur of conversation at least)… The three of us joined with Oakleigh and the group from Grovely to form two teams of four: “The Randoms” and “We hate Sean”. There were a number (12 i think…) bases which each group had to get around to. Being on the 25th, there was a “Christmas in August” theme. Bases included making snowmen out of balloons and shaving cream, tearing minty wrappers (an activity at which Hamish and I were pros, having “prepared” the entire journey home from nighthawk), and pulling “Santa and his elf on their sleigh”, which involved two team-members being “reindeer” to haul the remainder of the team on a go-cart.
Then, there was the annual race around the block which warmed everybody up for a brutal, savage, and downright chaotic game of “Stone Age Rumble”.
