St. John’s Wood Rover Crew

Rovers Australia

St John’s Wood Scout Group is home to a lively and energetic group of Rovers who meet weekly to do a vast range of activities. The function of the crew is to provide its members with a group of likeminded people with whom they can go hiking, camping, travelling (even overseas) and of course, perform as a social group.

Rovers is for people aged between 18 and 26.

Over the past couple of years we have been hiking in far north Queensland, attended the annual Rover formal (St George’s Ball, hosted in 2009 at the Mercure), camped and performed in the Brisbane Gang Show.

The crew itself is steeped in tradition, as it has been running for the past 50 years. There is an annual reunion at which current Rovers can connect with past Rovers. For all of our past Rovers, the group has provided them with the connections and skills to lead successful lives and maintain great friendships.

If a fellowship of the outdoors, a band of daring adventurers and a Crew of warm friendship based on Service is what you’re looking for then sign up today for Rovering with the Saints at rovers@stjohnswoodscouts.org!
